Details: Ipod causes Itunes to freeze when synching - reset ipod, updated itunes...still not working.

This indicates either the iPod's hard drive or motherboard is bad, you'll have to diagnose it to figure out which one is the problem.  If you'd like to send it in, iTronics Repair does free diagnostics.
